A section of Revelers and local who turned up for the Mutoto Imbalu Inauguration Ceremony went back home frustrated after they missed eating Meat.
These Said as earlier predicted by some people ,the function flopped after majority of the people were served with rice and beans instead of meat ,chicken fish and other foods as planned by the organizing committee.
"This was a worst Imbalu Ceremony we have ever Seen" said Concerned group of Bamasaba. One Alfred Wamono, a resident from Bumutoto added , "Can you Imagine they didn't give us meat yet they assured us that meat and chicken would be plenty.
the anticipation by the Organizers that the function would be a successful was downplayed by Majority of the local who freeman news Uganda reporters spoke to.
Weater learnt from some of the clan leaders that Seven bulls meant for the function were Stollen by Unknown Assailants.
The organizing committee led by Godwin Mubuya Couldn't account to furious clan leaders,who demanded answers on why the heads of cattle went missing.
Edward Mukoli, the sanno clan leader pinned son elements on the organising committee for Swindling the money that was meant to buy items.
"This was a total sham, what a sham function," he wondered .
Emma watundu , the head head of the press team at the organizing committee also dumbfounded as he wondered how the alleged thieves ,stole the Seven heads of cattle at the Security's Watch.
The organising committee had earlier assured locals that it had deployed 500 security officers to Man up the security at the Grounds.
Many leaders from masaba land Embraced the function, in attendance were Ministers ,Members of parliament from Bugisu region,Local leaders and other powerful leaders in the county.
A section of leaders who graced the function used the chance to rally Bamasaba to restrain from disunity which they said is being orchestrated by some powerful hungry leaders which has decided the region for more than 3 years leading to lack of the binding Cultural leader "Umukuuka"
John Baptist Nambeshe,the manjiya County Mp. and the opposition chief whip asked Bamasaba to refrain from being greedy and noted that the first enemy to Bamasaba is the Bamasaba them selves.
John Faith magola,the Mp. For Bungokho North who was delighted with the numbers that turned up to the event , said that there is alot to improve, especially in terms of infrastructure and security.
Despite the thefty allegations, Mbale City RCC , Ahamada Washaki Described the event as a successful, through admitted that the possessed participants turned violent and compromised the security to an extent that Guest of Honour , Marry Gorretty Kitutu and the VIP had to flee the Scene earlier for their Own safety Without making her speech.
