Bishop Robert Muhiirwa on 23rd may 2022 flagged off more than 800 foot Pilgrims from Fort portal to Namugongo .They are expected to reach namugongo on 31st May 2022, the Bishop moved together with Pilgrims for about 5km.
The pilgrims have arrived in Mubende and among them is the 72 year old Hagata Nyinabutagwira who is doing it for the 12th time .
Hagata says that she has always walked under the protection of the Blood of the Martyrs, a gift of faith which has become a source of blessings and strength to her and her family”
She Also says through the intercession of the Holy Martyrs, she has harvested abundant blessings and more importantly, the gift of life and the faith. Her family has got peace because of the annual pilgrimage she makes , and she uses it to offer her prayers.
