Soroti Woman member of parliament Anna Adeke, Kampala Deputy Lord Mayor Doreen Nyanjura and other women activists from the People’s Front for Transition (PFT) movement have been arrested.
These women activists were protesting against the high commodity prices and the continued detention of Kizza Besigye.

The group was staged at the Mulago roundabout with megaphones and placard on them
The group was singing oppressing sngs and anti-government slogans, while calling for the freedom of their PFT leader, Besigye.
Police was prompted to rounded them up and arrested all of them,they were driven off by a police Patrol pick up to Wandegeya police station.
Others arrested include :Wokuri madanda,Alice Amony Susan Nanyonjo and Kizito Miriam All members of The Red Card Front a political pressure group led By Dr kizza Besigye.
