NEWS:Traffic police embarks on vehicles expired and retreated tyres .

 

While speaking to our reporter,PRO Traffic police Directorate, Faridah Nampima the Police Inspectorate of Vehicles have been instructed by the Director Traffic and Road safety to take keen interest on tyre information and this will include speed, weight, manufacturing date and expiry as well as retreaded tyres.

According to Nampima,traffic officers shall be deployed on different highways and city center road in Kampala,  

"Traffic officers will  randomly stop vehicles along the highways and in KMP areas to advice drivers on this information'' :Nampiima.

She further  advised drivers to cooperate with the traffic police during this exercise which  has started today  31st may 2022.
