NEWS :IMBALU/KADODI EVENTS TURNS NUDE.

 

There has been drama in mbale SS ground,in Mbale city, after Event organizers of Elgon Festival turned the event into nudity. 

Info gathered shows that these Young girls aged 12-17 were ferried from the districts of Namisindwa and Manafwa and were promised to be paid 20k each for the service offered .

According to the Event organizer,by the names of Prisla Mungoma,this Event is to promote culture in masaba land . 

"We need to trace well our origins. Lots has changed over the years. The way Bamasaba are circumcised" she said .

But according to cultural leaders in masaba land ,whatever transpired was totally wrong and has never been culture in masaba land  for women to expose there breasts or bodies in public. 

 Though INZU,the cultural institution has distanced its self from the event .

 Inzu ya masaaba disassociate it self with this event. Inzu ya masaaba has not  partnered with any organization to run a cultural event.

So we request that when referring to this event don't mix it with INZU YA MASAABA and Bamasaaba. Bamasaaba young people are very respectful and they value , respect and cherish their culture . Any person associating the Elgon festival with Bamasaaba and Inzu ya masaaba attracts criminality.
