Shock has gripped residents of Senior quotes in Northern city Division in Mbale City after a body of an old man between 60 to 70years was discovered in a hotel room at Oxygen Hotel.
According to the Elgon Region Police Spokesperson Rogers Taitika, the body of the deceased was found in one of the hotel rooms at Oxygen Hotel.
Mr Taitika revealed that according to the workers at the hotel, the deceased registered his identity as a one Usufu Magombe however on him he had no identification documents.
The Police Spokesperson noted that according to preliminary investigations, some suspected poison liquids were discovered in the room which have been taken for medical analysis.
However, the body of the deceased has been taken to Mbale City Mortuary for postmortem.
