OPINION: Expect a poor performance in Government schools :Journalist Freeman Arnold Musamali

Its Nearly 3 weeks ever Since Arts teachers in Government schools went into an industrial strike .

This has totally affected the syllabuses in schools most especially in the moment where our country spent 2 years of no school going. 

As an investigative journalist I've spent my time in the districts of Bigisu,Teso ,Sebei and karamoja where performance has always been poor in  UNEB results.

I got reliable information that Most of these students have not covered half of the syllabus yet they are in the 3rd quarter of year 2022. 

Many of these schools have poor quality of science laboratory equipment a and others totally don't have laboratory.

Whereas these Government schools are not teaching,Private owned schools have never broken off and 90% of them conducted online lessons even when the country was under lockdown . 

This gives high chances for private owned  schools to achieve great results in UNEB year 2022.
