Two people died on spot and one sustained serious injuries following a motor accident that happened on Monday night at IUIU in Mbale City along the Mbale-Soroti highway.
According to eyewitnesses, they claim that the accident happened due to over speeding and carelessness of the truck driver who wanted to overtake a Boda Boda and lost control.
The two deceased and one injured were on Boda Boda registration number UFP 102J coming from Mbale town.
Police took the victim to Mbale Regional Referral Hospital for treatment.
The bodies were also taken to Mbale City Mortuary for postmortem as investigations continue.
