The family of the 26-year-old/37-year-old singer, Desire Luzinda, has reportedly asked her fiancé Lucas Lubyogo, popularly known as Levixone, to provide a dowry of fifteen cows if he wants to enjoy her ‘Ekitone’ in matrimonial peace.
This ask was made known to Levixone when he showed up with a single cow for the Kukyala (introduction ceremony) at the residence of Luzinda’s parents in Katalemwa, Kawanda, on Bombo Road.
The ceremony, which happened on Wednesday, was attended by a celebrity grouping of smiling friends of Luzinda such as Andrew Kyamagero, Patrick “Salvado” Idringi along with his with Daphine, pastor Aloysius Bugingo, Pastor Wilson Bugembe, Karitas Karisimbi among others.
Levixone, 29, was accompanied by singer Ray G, real name Reagan Muhairwe, for whom the Mbeera artiste was the best man last year.
Although Levixone was told to up his game of one cow to 15 cows, he remained unfazed and actually welcomed the prospect of handing over that many cows since Luzinda, to him, must be worth a lot more.
The two lovebirds enjoyed a warm ceremony in which Desire lived up to her name by showing why she is Desirous of Levixone while he, in turn, was full of Desire thanks to how radiant she looked.
Their relationship was mostly kept under wraps until Luzinda, of ‘Ekitone’ fame, who lives in the United States, flew in last week amidst a whirlpool of rumours that left the media awash with news about their secret marriage ceremony.
In keeping with this busy season, Gospel singer Levixone, the ‘Chikibombe’ hitmaker, is expected to have a concert dubbed the “Mbeera: The Genesis Concert” this November 26th.
