The Police in Mbale has arrested two witch doctors in connection to the murder of 5year-old boy who had disappeared three weeks from home in Cisse cell, Namatala ward Mbale Industrial city division.
The LC1 chairman of Cisse cell in Namatala Mr. Gumono Abedi, identified the suspects as Jamadah Isiko and Ibrahim the witch Doctors and residents of Kiduda cell in Namatala in Mbale City.
According to Abedi, one suspect directed police detectives to the scene in the sugar cane plantation near River Namatala along Kabwagasi road at Doko Namabasa in Mbale Northern City division.
"While at the crime scene, investigators discovered only the Borns of the body parts and aT-shirt of the deceased covered with grass and sand in the sugar cane plantations." He said.
Musamba Lukman the father of the deceased and resident of Cisse cell in Namatala confirmed to us that, this was his 5 year old son who disappeared from home in the last three weeks putting on the same T-shirt recovered with borns by police.
"I reported everywhere, police stations, radio announcements but had failed to recover my son until today when we got information that police has arrested two people in connection with the ritual killings" Father of the deceased.
Jamadah Isiko a resident of Kiduda in Namatala, one of the suspects who led police to the crime scene confirmed that that's the boy they killed.
He said that Ibrahim his boss beheaded the boy and brought the body in the sugar cane for traditional rituals.
The suspects were taken to Mbale central police station as investigations continue.
