Some of the Mbale area residents who worked tirelessly to retrieve the bodies of the recent flash flood victims in Mbale,On Thursday 4th 2022 staged a peaceful demonstration calling on the Mbale Resident City Commissioner (RCC) Ahamada Washaki to fulfill his pledge.
The Seven Men camped at the City Council Offices hoping to get feedback from their leaders whom they claim promised them soap after their efforts of retrieving 23 dead bodies and 3 cars from River Nabuyonga.
The seven accused RCC Mbale City, MR Washaki for neglecting and bouncing them all the time whenever they ask for a pay from Government.
According to one of them Name withheld,He claims that his wife has abandoned after watching him on television extracting dead bodies from water.
