The Vice president of Uganda Jessica Alupo has urged youths from eastern region and Uganda at large to involve themselves in income generating activities to improve their lives.

She revealed this on Saturday at Budadiri town council playground  located in Sironko district while Tororo Catholic archdiocese sent off over 1000 youths from different districts in eastern region who had successfully accomplished their one week retreat at Budadiri Catholic parish.

According to Alupo , youths must be involved in income generating activities like poultry, fish, and coffee farming so that they can get money.

Emanuel Obo the archbishop of Tororo catholic archdiocese urged parents to console their children about good dressing so that they can be brought up as good future children.

He adds that both girls and boy children in town areas dress in an incidental way which has attracted defilement and rap cases.

Isaiah Sasaga Wanzira area Member of Parliament for Budadiri east constituency has urged government to allocate more money in vocational training such that youths can be given vocational skills to be job creators than seekers.

He adds that as area Mp he has embarked on offering free vocational skills training at his private vocational school known as St Catherine vocational training school.

Sasaga urged the government to open more government vocational schools in the country to eradicate the problem of unemployment in youths.
