Security officers in Bulambuli district have recorded at least seventeen death cases during Kadodi dancing.
This was revealed by Stanly Bayola the Bulambuli resident district commissioner while speaking to our reporter at his office this today.
The RDC came up with this following the death of five people at Muyembe town council in Bulambuli district this week after being knocked by a speeding Tororo cement truck along Bulambuli-Kapchrowa highway.
He says that since the month of July up to August they have lost 17 people who are knocked by speeding vehicles at various roads in the district while dancing Kadodi.
Bayola urged local and cultural leaders to sensitize the community about road use safety such that they cannot continue losing people in this manner.
Peter Gumuye, one of the survivors during weeked Bulambuli accident refutes claims of Kadodi dancers dancing in the middle of the road as police revealed over the weekend.
He adds that dancers are ever disciplined and have been dancing alongside the road but drivers driving especially big vehicles never respect them.
