𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐍𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐤𝐨𝐨𝐛𝐚 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 (𝐀𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐂)

 

Minister of Lands, Housing and Urban Development Hon. Judith Nabakooba, has been elected as chair of African Union Specialized Technical Committee (AUSTC) on Local Government, public services, urbanization and human settlement.

The committee’s main mandate is to oversee development and implementation of policies on access to information and freedom of expression, as well as promotion of the capacity of African media.

 This was during the 4th committee meeting held in Cairo, Egypt from 29th to 31st August 2022 where Uganda was represented by Hon. Judith Nabakooba.
