Private schools in Kisoro have slightly hiked school fees ahead of term three reopening on 5th September 2022.This will be the last term of the first Post Covid-19 academic year in Uganda.

According to a section of school directors, the slight increment on fees is to counterbalance the current crisis and ensure that the welfare of learners is observed.

The Director of Standard Secondary School, Manirafasha Kenneth said that parents should not get worried about the fee increment because the crisis is all over the world which has made food very costly and other utilities.

He advised parents who might face challenges in paying fees but have any farm produce like beans and cabbage to always attend to the school administrators so that they exchange them for fees.
