Men dressed in military fatigue and armed with assault rifles are said to have kidnapped a Pakistani businessman near Kireka Grammar Primary School in Kira Municipality, Wakiso District and later robbed him of unspecified amount of money before dumping him in an isolated area on Mukono-Kayunga Road.
Police said a man in company of three men dressed in military fatigue and armed with assault rifles travelling in a Fielder vehicle kidnapped Mr Hensam Muhammed, a car dealer.
The Thursday incident in which Hensam was kidnapped happened at Kireka C in Kira Municipality, Wakiso District at 1pm. He was hours later dumped at Kasangalabi village.

Kampala Metropolitan Police deputy spokesman Luke Owoyesigyire said the victim was later dumped by his captors at Kasangalabi on Mukono-Kayunga Road.
"Investigations are ongoing to identify the suspects and also understand details of the incident. The victim in still in shock. We shall record his statement later," Assistant Superintendent of Police Owoyesigyire said Thursday evening when asked about the matter.
Residents and Mr Hensam looked on helplessly as the armed men dragged him into a Probox car. Some residents filmed the incident using their phones and shared it on social media platforms.
The victim attempted to fight for his freedom but they overpowered him and bundled him in a car before driving away, according to videos seen by this reporter.

Mr Owoyesigyire said the suspects drove towards Naalya before disappearing.
Mr Hensam's colleagues reported to the police and investigations are underway, according Mr Owoyesigyire, to establish facts of the case.
Cases of gunmen picking civilians are on the increase in the country and in less than 2 weeks, more than 20 people have gone missing most especially NUP supporters.
