NGORA CAO AND HIS TECHNICAL OFFICERS ARRESTED FOR SWINDLING PDM CASH.

Police in Ngora district have arrested the CAO and his Technical officers for allegedly  embezzling Parish Development Model program funds.

Those arrested include, CAO (Lawrence Wadada), CFO (Charles Elungat), Mackay Otai the district senior commercial officer, District Planner (Asio Prscilla) and others.

The RDC Ngora, John Stephen Ekoom who is also the head of security in the district confirmed this saying the officers are currently being detained at Ngora CPS.

The officers are being accused of embezzling over 200m meant for the PDM program in the district.

Last week, the officers had run away from their offices but upon return, only to be arrested today.

Recently, the PDM secretariat in Together  with other anti corruption agencies arrested district officials in Kitghum and Kabale districts over the same.
