More trouble for the Uganda Airline Chief Executive Officer Jennifer Bamuturaki as MPs squeeze her to account for US $ 12,750.
During the COSASE seating today 13th September 2022, the chairman of the committee, Hon. Joel Ssenyonyi said that Bamuturaki traveled to South Africa, Zanzibar, Mombasa, Juba, Tanzania, Burundi and Mogadishu, to Visit different Airlines to establish how they are operating.
According to Ssenyonyi's Investigations, the money was released to her according to financial records of Uganda Airlines, unfortunately Bumuturaki did not travel.
On top of it Hon. Ssenyonyi also asked Buturaki and the team that was appearing before the committee to answer a number of issues raised by the Auditor General in a report to parliament.
Bamuturaki was left puzzled and requested to respond to COSASE in Writing.
The committee also tasked her to fix the issues of her Name in two weeks.
According to Record, in 2019, Bamuturaki legally changed her name to Jennifer Arnold Lenkai but Continues to use Jennifer Bamuturaki on official Documents.
