Having served In the 10th parliament, as Vice Chairperson of the Committee on East African Community Affairs, Former Buyende Woman MP. Hon. Veronica has bounced back to run in the race for EALA MP after Successfully being nominated today.
Parliament has today 19th September 2022, started the nomination process for candidates who will compete for nine slots at the East Africa legislative Assembly (EALA) For Uganda.

The tow days nomination process by the clerk of parliament, Adolf Mwesige closes on Tuesday 20th, September, 2022.
12 Independent candidates were nominated, and they include :-
Stella Kiryowa, former Ngora MP Jacqueline Amongin, Dr. Kapyata Denis, Daniel Muwonge, Patience Tumwesigye, Ronex Tendo Kisembo, Julius Bukyana, Allan Muyinda, Amborose Murangira and finally former Buyende and EALA MP. Veronica Kadogo.
More candidates shall be Nominated tomorrow 20th September 2022 and this will be for candidates who were endorsed by their political parties, including Forum for Democratic Change, Harod kaija.
National Resistance movement (NRM) Party, who are also the incumbents . They include:-
Mery Mugyenyi, Rose Akol, Stephen George Odongo, Denis Namara , James Kakoza and Paul Musamali.
