BREAKING: 3 confirmed Ebola cases in Mulago Hospital.

Minister of Health, Dr Ruth Aceng, has this morning 22nd October 2022 confirmed 3 Ebola cases in Mulago Hospital.

According to minister Dr. Anceng, Yesterday 21st October2022, three individuals from among the 60 Contacts in Mulago isolation facility tested positive for Ebola. 

These were contacts to the case from Kassanda who passed on in Mulago Hospital. They have since been under institutional quarantine in Mulago isolation unit.

The 2022 Uganda Ebola outbreak is an ongoing outbreak of the Sudan  Ebola  Virus, which Causes Ebola, in the western Region and central Region of Uganda. It is Uganda's fifth Outbreak with Sudan Ebola virus and a total of 63 reported cases and 30 deaths recorded as of October 20th 2022.
