International: Dozens killed in missile attack on Ukrainian major cities by Russian military

 


Ukrainian capital kyiv and several other major cities have been hit in a barrage of Russian missile attack that hit civilian targets and killed several people. 

The new wave of attack on Ukrainian Cities also injured at least 64 people as the Russian president talks of "harsh response" to kerch Bridge attack. 

Missiles tore into Kyiv, the most intense strike on the city since Russia abandoned an attempt to capture it in the early week of the3 war that started I. Late February. Explosion were also reported in Lviv, Ternopol and Zhytomyr in Ukraine's west ; and Kharkiv in the east.

 Russian president Vladimir Putin said his country had launched long range missiles against Ukrainian energy, military and communication infrastructure. He said the barrage of missiles fire on Monday was a reaponse to "terrorist attack" on Russian territory and warned an even harsh "response" could come. 

Missile tore into Kyiv, the most intense strike on the city since Russia abandoned an attempt to capture it in the early week of the war that started in late February. 

Explosion were also reported in Lviv; Zeporizhzhia in the south; and Kharkiv In the east. 

Reports quoting Ukraine's emergency service indicate that the death toll from today's Russian missile strike has risen to at least 11.
