JUST IN: Museveni Set to Address Nation tomorrow as Uganda Registers More Ebola Deaths with Recent from kirudu.

 

HE. Yoweri kaguta Museveni will address the nation tomorrow 12th October 2022 according to presidential press unit. ( PPU .)

The communication was released just hours after the minister of Health Dr. Ruth Aceng Confirming an Ebola death at Kirudu hospital which is located in Kampala City. 

According to Dr. Ruth Aceng , the  deceased left Mubende after contracting the virus  moved in Kampala and the nearby district looking for herbalists. "This person left mubende very ill but opted to go look for witch doctors and by the time he got to kirudu hospital, it was to late and he died on Thursday" Said St Aceng.

Dr Aceng further said that the ministry has embarked on trancing for more that 50 contacts and are monitoring the Doctors who treated the deceased while he was at Kirudu Hospital. 

The 2022 Uganda Ebola outbreak is an ongoing outbreak of the Sudan ebola virus, which causes Ebola, in the Western Region and Central Region of Uganda. It is Uganda´s fifth outbreak with Sudan ebola virus and a total of 63 reported cases and 29 reported deaths as of October 11th , 2022.
