Political activist and National unity platform member, Saudah Maadad is under arrest after knocking dead one person in kyebando.
According to eye witnesses, today morning 28th October 2022 at 10am, Sauda was driving from kyebando heading to kamwokya, up on approaching kyebando flyover, Saudah decided to drive on One way at a high speed.
She accidentally crashed a boda boda cyclist who was carrying a woman passenger. It has been reported that the boda man died as he was being rushed to hospital with the woman (passenger) sustaining severe injuries.
Up on realizing that she had caused an accident, Saudah attempted to make a U-turn but unfortunately patrol police had spotted her.
Police attempted to stop her, though saudah opted to drive her car on a high speed while heading to kamwokya via northern bypass where she kept knocking other road users.
Police patrol was prompted to shot at her car as soon as they arrived in the areas of Bukoto.
Saudah jumped out of the car, started to strip her self necked, though this act never stopped security from arresting her.
Information on our desk indicates that she was rushed to a medical facility for treatment due to injuries sustained during the shootings.
By the time we filed the story, police had not issued an official statement.
