NUP MP'S Contribute 34M in repatriation Fundraising call By Bobi wine

Following the Fundraising call to repatriate stranded Ugandans in UAE by the National unity platform president, Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, NUP Members of parliament have collected a sum of 34 million shillings as there contribution. 

The leader of Opposition, Hon. Matthias Mpuuga handed over the collected funds to the party secretary General, Mr David  Lewis Rubomgoya.

"In response to our President HE. Bobiwine’s call, we have this afternoon handed over Shs 34 million to NUP SG, David L Rubongoya to support the party’s efforts to repatriate our brothers and sisters who are stranded in the UAE" Said LOP Mpuuga.


National unity platform says  that as of today, they have repatriated more than 100 Ugandans and are doing everything to process others. 


Previously Many complaints have been failed by several Ugandans that show that over three thousand Ugandans are stuck in UAE detentions.

According to Government Records over 3,000 Uganda's have been stranded in United Arab Emirates (UAE) and most of them are in UAE illegally.
