investigative journalist Agather Atuhaire has alleges that the speaker of Parliament of Uganda, Rt. Hon.Anitah Annet Among inducted 49 new Parliament staff, even when the jobs were not advertised nor any screening being done.
Atuhaire reveled this via her official twitter account yesterday 31st October 2022.
According to her tweets, those offered jobs by the speaker of Parliament included Jacob Oulanyah, son the Late speaker Jacob Oulanyah, Wife to former State minister for tourism, Godfrey Kiwanda, Two other relatives of Parliamentary commissioners and already has five siblings employed In Parliament, among others.
Atuhaire Agather is a senior Investigative Journalist and lawyer.
Currently Parliament of Uganda has over 313 employees, excluding Members of Parliament.
