Thousands shun the Older person's international Day Celebrations in Nebbi after Noticing that M7 won't attend

During the International Day for Older Persons commemoration at Nebbi Town SS. 

Many seats were left empty after some locals & district leaders, including area MPs, walked out upon learning that  President Yoweri  Kaguta Museveni won't  attend the event as expected.

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni was Expected in Arua today 1st September 2022 to Commemorate the International Day for the Order persons but unfortunately he did not make it due to other committed reasons. 

According to Mr Faruk Kirunda, Deputy  press Secretary to president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, the Minister of State for the Elderly, Hon. Gidudu Mafabi, was to  represent H.E the President as Chief Guest at the celebrations,  to mark International Day of Older Persons in Nebbi and that the  same event would be  live on UBC TV.
