Bodies of 11 pupils who died last week in a dormitory fire at Salama School for the Blind handed over to their families

Bodies of 11 pupils who died last week in a dormitory fire at Salama School for the Blind, Mukono District  have arrived at the school today morning for a requiem mass.

According to the School administration,  the bodies shall thereafter be handed over to their families for burial. 

According to police reports the  girls dormitory caught fire in the night of  24th of October 2022, at 1am.

11 blind pupils dies in this fire several others  badly injure

The 6 pupils who were in critical condition got admitted at Herona Hospital in Kisoga .
