The State House Press Unit warned the general public about fraudsters who are using a forged letter purportedly from State House to grab and or distribute forest land in Mayuge District.
The letter was allegedly issued and signed by the Senior Presidential Advisor, Lt. Gen. (Rtd) Proscovia Nalweyiso on September 27, 2021.
"We would like to inform the public that the above Senior State House Staff is not involved in land matters in any way and she has never issued any such letter'' - PPU
They further advised the public that anyone coming in possession of such letter should always contact their Resident District and City Commissioners who will be required to verify with the State House about its authenticity.
