It looks like the war in the 11th parliament between Minister Namuganza and Speaker among is not about to end so soon.
The State Minister for lands,Housing and urban Development, Hon. Persis Namuganza insists that she intends to move a motion on the floor of parliament concerning the Speaker's marriage, which she terms as an "fraudulent marriage"
Hon. Namuganza also insists that the Speaker of parliament used her powers and threatened her husband forcefully to legalize their marriage with magogo.
Namuganza made this submission while in an exclusive interview with NBS TV.
"The speaker of parliament has interest in this, she went and procured a fraudulent marriage with the so called husband. You know a husband is defined legally, so they went and attacked my husband because he is a civil servant and forced him to sign papers of their marriage" - Namugaza narrated.
Namuganza further said that the speaker kept on threatening her husband and intimidating him after the incident of cancelation of their marriage, she says that the case was reported at CID.
"Even the president is aware of this matter and he instructed the CID to look into it, my husband has filed his statement and we are looking forward to seeing what is next" - Namuganza.
