Job Alert: Gov’t To Recruit Thousands Of Teachers

In order to fill the seed schools, the Ugandan government is set to recruit 2,000 teachers around January-February in 2023.

According to Dr. Denis Mugimba, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Education, new teachers will fill the vacancies created by the retirement of 400 secondary school teachers last year.

While speaking to Journalists, Mugimba said that the government is looking for about 2000 qualified teachers to fill seed schools.

The Education Services Commission’s Permanent Secretary, Dr. Asuman Lukwago, cautions applicants who want to have teaching positions against using dishonest means to join the government payroll.
