We are reliably informed that Journalist Benah Nantumbwe is responding to the medication at kiruddu hospital where she has been hospitalized for almost two weeks now.
Nantumbwe who left Mulago Kawempe hospital while in coma two weeks ago and was put in ICU at Kiruddu hospital has improved, this was revealed by the medical Doctors who are attending to her.
Our reporter Arnold Musamali paid a visit to kiruddu hospital today 15th December 2022, to check on ill Nantumbwe and confirmed that Doctors at kiludu hospital have done and still doing all it takes to save her life.
"I couldn't look at her struggle breathing in and out while on Dialysis and Life Supporting machine by the time I entered the ICU Room" - Musamali Arnold.
According to medical reports from Mulago Kawepe Nantumbwe developed complications with her 9 months pregnancy.
Doctors confirmed that her fetus had died from inside her womb which called for treatment that involves a surgical procedure known as a dilatation and curettage (D&C) which is done under a general anaesthetic.
This procedure removes any pregnancy tissue from your uterus. But for Nantumbwe's case conditions just kept worsening and she was referred to kiruddu Hospital.
We have also been informed that Minister of Information and communication Technology, Hon. Chris Baryomunsi has visited Nantumbwe this evening and pledged to give maximum support.
