MAHATHI Infra Uganda LTD to offload its first fuel tomorrow Morning as MT Kabaka Mutebi 11 sets off from Kisumu.

A newly  constructed fuel strategic tank site is set to receive its first fuel from kisumu tomorrow 30th December 2022, at exactly 8am.


According to Mahathi Infra Uganda LTD chairperson / shareholder, Captain Mike Mukula, the managing Director  ⁦kenya pipeline⁩ flagged off MT kabaka mutebi 11  back to uganda from kisumu  at 11am today 29th December 2022.

 "The vessel has been loaded with fuel destined to Kawuku where it will be offloaded and re-loaded into our mega tanks" - Captain Mukula.

Captain Mukula added that the 70 Million  liters of fuel storage strategic tanks are in kawuku on the shores of  lake Victoria and it is expected  to start supplying fuel to other fuel companies in the country.

The returning vessel sailed to kisumu on the 21st of December. 

Captain Mukula further told this publication that they have built  4 Fuel Ships which are longer than Nambole stadium & each carry 4.5 million liters each & are expected to reduce the transport costs tremendously. 

On September 9th 2021 Mahathi Infra Uganda LTD held an event at which they  unveiled Uganda largest in land water  transport ship so fore, this ship 118 meters by 23 meters, for context one ship is larger and longer than Mandela stadium,commonly known as Nambole.
