Success FM abandons its journalist in kirudu hospital - terminates 3 for demanding 5 months salary arrears.


104.9 success FM kyanja, owned by bishop Elijah Ssebuchu has abandoned one of its employee's in Kirudu hospital and terminated three of its female journalist for demanding  five months salary arrears.


One of terminated journalist told us that her and the two colleagues have been working under harsh conditions but could endure and deliver as expected. 


"Enough is enough, three weeks back, one of our workmates called Benah Nantumbwe lost her unborn baby, we took her to komamboga health center but the medics failed to work on her coz it was a very serious case which could even result to death, so they referred her to kawempe referral hospital where she was induced and went in coma for some time.



Later on, Benah was refered to Kiruddu and is currently in ICU" - terminated Journalists.

The journalist have also informed us that every week the hospital charges their colleague (Benah) one million shillings  and they've tried to look for it in every corner but all in vain.


Nantumbwe Benah and the rest of the workers are demanding success FM Salaries of five months but  when they approached bishop Elijah Ssebuchu for some help, all he did was to give Benah One hundred thousand shillings (100,000) yet she's demands the company over five (5) million  shillings of her salary and commission.


On Monday the three  terminated journalists approached the general manager Ms. Eva Ssewaali asking her for their salaries and that of the patient but all she did was to answer them  arrogantly and locked her office.

The three terminated  employees decided to proceed to the accounts office headed by Ritah Mukisa, who was not helpful neither.


Today 14th of December 2022, the three terminated journalists reported to the station for  work as usual, but unfortunately  the gatemen refused to allow them to access the building, saying that bishop Elijah Ssebuchu and Manager Eva Ssewaali had issued directives of not allowing  them in.

"i was instructed by my bosses never to allow you people enter the radio compound again" - security 

According to Success FM management, it  claims that the three terminated journalists stole some studio equipments.

"This is an excuse we are not thieves, we are demanding for our salaries and that's why they locked us outside the building" said Jane Bambi.

She also added that the building had CCTV cameras that monitor, so let the management avail the footage for proof. 


The affected journalists include janefrances Nambi a News anchor, Sandra Nabiryo and patience kisaakye.

According to info on our desk, Tomorrow 15th December Bishop Elijah Ssebuchu's daughter Esther faith Ssebuchu is introducing a man to her parents at their home located in Nakasajja along Gayaza karagi road,the ceremony is so expensive but the man of God can't save the life of Benah- his Employee.
