Sudhir Ruparelia Graces Cardinal Wamala’s 65th Priestly Celebrations

Cardinal Emmanuel Wamala has celebrated his 65th, priestly anniversary and thanked all those who have shown him love and care during this journey.
Speaking at a party organized by Dr. Sudir Ruparellia in the presence of his friends, relatives, and neighbors, Cardinal Wamala said Sudhir showed him love and support as a friend when he was the Archbishop of the Diocese of Kampala.
He said that since his retirement he has kept their relationship going by visiting him at regular intervals such as visiting him at his home in Nsambya where he now lives.
Cardinal Emmanuel Wamala reminded Dr. Sudhir that he will never forget the dinner he given him when he hosted them at a boat race in Munyonyo with the people they lived with.
”On this special day in my life as I celebrate 65 years since I was ordained a priest, I take this opportunity to welcome you all with all my heart and wish you God’s blessings and all your families and loved ones” Cardinal Wamala said.
The Cardinal gave blessings to the guests who attended the ceremony including the late Pope’s envoy Archbishop Augustine Kasujja, Fr.Dr.Emmanuel Kimboga Dr.Ephrahim Ntaganda and his family, the cardinal’s relatives led by his grandson who is also a father.
Archbishop Kasujja, who represents the Archbishop of the Diocese of Kampala, said it was a joy to see the Cardinal celebrating these years.
He thanked him for being a father who listens to everyone and advises everyone who needs advice and comfort.
Dr.Ruparellia described the cardinal as a proud role model in his life, wise, humble to everyone, and thanked him for giving him the opportunity to have dinner with him on such a glorious day in his life.
