Spend wisely, School fees time is so soon - Mwanjunzi - Deputy RCC Northern Div. Mbale City


While speaking to our reporter one on one with her, Deputy Resident City commisionor Northern Division Mbale City, Prossy Mwanjuzi  has urged Ugandans Most especially those in northern City Division and Elgon region at large to spend wisely.


"As we plan to spend extravagantly during this festival season, lets not end  up eating school fees for our children because February  is not far" - Mwanjuzi.


She also urge all families to reduce their spending this Christmas a little, so that they can  have enough to pay school fees in January.

Mwanjuzi further said that  Inflation is still very high and it is pinching all of us in the country and the whole world at large.


Following the outbreak of Ebola virus, the Ministry of Education ordered educational institutions to cut short their learning time as a measure to prevent the spread of the deadly virus and most schools are expected to resume studies in February 2022, but the resumption of studies has on some occasions been faced with lack of funds amongst some families.


On the issue of security, She assured to our publication that no one will bring instability in the country because all security bodies are on Alert and ready to protect Citizens during this festive season. 


Still in her message on one on one with us , RCC Mwanjunzi expressed condolences to families that lost their loved ones during 2022 especially to deadly viruses like Covid and Ebola, as well as senseless road accidents, to crime, and to preventable diseases.


In her conclusion, Mwanjunzi reminded all residents of Mbale City that All land eviction orders have been put on halt until 6th January 2023.
