7 Candidate Express interest in Serere County By-Election as EC Issues election programme

The Uganda Electoral commission  has released  the programe for conducting the by-election of Member of Parliament for Serere County  Constituency, Serere District. 

This has prompted over seven candidate at the moment who have shown interest in the by-Election, these include :-

1. Philip Oucor -NRM

2. Emmanuel Omoding Okabe - IND. 3. Eng Martin Onguruco - IND. 4. Alice Alaso Asianut -ANT 5. Emmanuel Eratu -IND 6. Sam Otaala -IND 7. Omoding Herbert Olaboro -IND

The Serere County Parliamentary seat fell vacant following the death of the former Member of Parliament, the Late Hon.Okabe Patrick, in a motor accident on 19th December, 2022. 

Polling and Tallying of results for the by-election of the area Member of Parliament will be conducted on Thursday, 23rd, February, 2023
