Report reaching us this late in the night indicates that unidentified bus traveling from Gulu City to Kampala just got involved in a fatal road accident along Kampala-Gulu Highway, claiming lives of at list eight (8) people.
According to our reporter on ground, the accident happened on the 9th of January 2023, at 11pm in Kakoge center, between Nakasongola and Luwero District.
It's said that some dead bodies were still trapped inside the flipped Bus by time of filing this story.
Our report informed us that the Bus name was not visible because it flipped on the left side of the road, which had the name brandings.
We are yet to confirm the number of the dead and the injured when Uganda police issues the official report.
This is a 2nd nasty accident in less than a week on Gulu - Kampala Highway with a previous one which took place on 5th of January 2023, claiming lives of at list fifteen (15) people
