Game over as Speaker of parliament, Rt. Hon. Anitah Among trashes Uganda Airlines #COSASE report on grounds that it was leaked.
Speaker Among told parliament this afternoon that parliament will rather adopt the Auditors report about Uganda Airline Saga than the one of #COSASE.
"Hon. Members of parliament, we are going to adopt the Auditor's report because the one of #COSASE was leaked out to the public before we could debate on it"- Speaker Among.
This left the COSASE chairperson, as well as member of parliament, Nakawe West Hon. Joel Ssenyonyi helpless as Speaker Among ordered him to present the Uganda National Roads Authority #UNRA Report and forget about Uganda Airline Report.
Speaker Among also informed the house that parliament is investigating on who leaked the report to the public before parliament could discuss it.

The Speaker of Parliament, Anita Among also called for an audit into the performance of Parliament’s Committee on State Authorities and State Enterprises (Cosase).
Ms Among who is the Bukedea District Women representative in the 11th Parliament said the performance of the committee chaired by Nakawa West MP, Joel Ssenyonyi, a member of the opposition National Unity Platform (NUP) is of great concern.
“I noted yesterday that the performance of Cosase in processing the auditor general's report 2020/2021 has been a cause of concern to this House.
And failure for the committee to do its work is an indictment on the House. First on the committee then on the House. When somebody fails, you all fail and we have all failed," the Speaker told plenary on Wednesday afternoon.
