SEE TV Suspends all employees without paying them 12 months salaries, Puts property On Sale.

SEE TV Uganda suspended all its employees on 23rd December 2022 after failing to pay them salary arrears for 12 months.

Among the suspended employees include: journalist, News anchors, News editors, departmental managers, Drivers, Camera men, Cleaners, Social media Managers, Producers etc.

One of the employees, Name withheld informed us that they were told to stay at home till further notice towards the festive season but unfortunately they had not been paid for the past 12 months.

"Our bosses used to pay us when the Tv station had just started, but things started changing mid last year when  they started giving us excuses, our heads kept telling us to hold on every end of month, promising to pay us" - one of the workers.

Our sources have landed on an Advertisement that shows that the structure housing SEE Tv is now on sale.

Kampala Property Associations posted SEE Tv's Home on its twitter handles indicating that the property was on sale.

With over 309 licensed radio stations, numerous public & private TV stations, & rapid growth in internet accessibility & usage, the media landscape in UG is dynamic, diverse & rapidly evolving but unfortunately paying employees is a tag of war. But who to blame ?????
