Serere County race polarises Teso leaders; Alaso's entry makes it even more complex

As the battle to claim the vacant Serere County MP seat gains momentum, the population and Teso leadership has been divided into three parallel camps with each camp claiming supremacy in the poll.

Speaker of Parliament Annet Anita Among AAA a long time friend to ANTs Alice Alaso Asianut AAA finds herself in an ugly scene of fighting her Deputy Speaker, Kasilo County MP, Minister of State for Sports Peter Ogwang who are rallying their weight behind Emmanuel Omoding, son to the deceased MP Patrick Okabe- who also has a backing of a section of NRM Sub County Chairpersons.

The AAA/ AAA alliance dates back to the old times the two Teso female female legislators were FDC kingpins in Bukedea and Serere respectively.

Philip Oucor seems to be having an upper hand with Eng Onguruco and Hon Otaala agents openly abandoning them to campaign for Oucor.

Bududa RDC John Owani, a an uncompromising strategist of Oucor avers that Oucor won the bi election the moment the NRM party leadership respected the constitution by giving the popular, strong willed, loaded Oucor the NRM flag.

" NRM under Rt. Hon Richard Todwong has never  and can never loose  a bi- election and Serere will be an opportunity  yet for SG  and the NRM party to stamp his mobilisation skills" says the RDC

The Serere DWMP Minister Adoa Hellen currently on maternity leave is playing a cat & mouse game considering the high  stakes involved
