The Speaker of parliament Rt. Hon. Anitah Among has donates 50 million towards Construction of Specialized Hospital for children and women under Hoima Catholic Diocese.
Speaker Among made the pronouncement while meeting the Bishop Rt. Rev. Vicent Kirabo in her office at Parliament today 19th Jan 2023, mid morning.
The Bishop was welcomed at Parliament by State Minister for Public Service Hon. Grace Mary Mugasa and MPs led by Hon. Emely Kugonza of Buyanja East Constituency.
According to Bishop Rt. Rev. Vicent Kirabo, the hospital if completed will help mitigate the maternal and childhood health challenges that the Bunyoro sub-region faces.
