Speaker Among - Minister Namuganza battle turns nasty with 15 MPs being bribed with millions of cash.

Money turns heads. Money can make an amiable character run mad. Money is a big factor in politics now. Voters need money. Even MPs need money

The appetite for money at Parliamentary Avenue cannot be matched with anything in this country. Bribery has killed off everything at Parliament.

Intelligence Briefing has got a racket and a trail of Members of Parliament being bribed with at least 6 million shs to make a compelling case against Minister Persis Namuganza.

The group of 15 Law Makers, who happen to be in good books with the Speaker Anita Among  have been set up to speak in solidarity and support the censure motion of Minister Persis Namuganza, during the so called Special Session, called by Among to remove her nemesis Namuganza from office. The Special Parliamentary Session is scheduled for Monday 23rd January 2023.

The MPs who have received cash from the Speaker Among are; David Kabanda (Kasambya County), Asuman Basalirwa (Bugiri Municipality), Goeffrey Macho (Busia Municipality), Dan Atwijukire Kimosho (Kazo), Kazibwe Bashir Mbazira (Kawempe South), Aloysious Mukasa (Kawempe South), Abdul Katuntu (Bugweri County), Solomon Silwany (Bukholi Central), Sarah Achieng Opendi (Tororo Woman), Minister Peter Ogwang (Kanyum County), Alex Ojara Mapenduzi (Gulu City - Bardege - Layibi Division), Alex Ruhunda (Fort Portal City - Central Division), Moses Hasim Magogo (Buyende County) and Flavia Kabahenda

The Speaker Among has even gone to an extent of promising 4 of these MPs, Ministerial positions in the next Cabinet Reshuffle, claiming to influence the Appointing Authority whenever she wants.

This group of MPs can even kill any one for money. Its money that makes them speak in tongues. Its the only language they understand. They can even sell their country for money. Just 6 million shillings and you will see how they will be speaking Shakespeare English

However much Parliament should not be a centre for petty fights, Anita Among has stooped so low by fighting and discrediting whoever doesn't agree with her methods of work. Enough is Enough. This hypocrisy must stop. Let her go to court instead of using Parliament to settle silly petty issues.
