Captain Mukula intervenes, Saves Musician Chameleon & brother from facing court over reportedly promoting homosexuality acts in the country.




The National Resistance Movement (NRM) chairperson Eastern, Captain Mike Mukula has intervened in battle between musician joseph Mayanja, commonly know as Chameleone and re-known City Pr. Ssempa Martin, over Homosexuality acts in public.


Few days ago, Pastor Martin Ssempa Draged  Musician Brothers Jose Chameleone and Weasel Manizo to Court For Promoting Homosexuality.


According to Captain Mukula, who is also the Uganda Musician Association (UMA), Jose chameleon and brother did a wrong act but since he publicly apologised, he deserves a 2nd chance.


"As the patron of Uganda musicians Association I have reached out to pastor Martin Ssempa with a view to withdraw his complaint registered with Uganda police on Jose Chameleone since he has issued a public apology and never to repeat, I salute his acceptance of withdrawal" - Captain Mukula.

Makerere Community Church lead Pastor, the controversial Martin Ssempa dragged singers Jose Chameleone and Weasel Manizo to the actions of the law for reportedly promoting illegal homosexuality acts in the country.


According to Ssempa, these two were doing everything they can to promote what he has labeled immoral acts that will end up poisoning the community.


Chameleone and Weasel two have been seen on several occasions seen kissing each other and dancing to weird dance move .


And recent incident happened last week Friday night at Gwanga Mujje Concert when the two stormed the stage they started kissing each other .


The incident raised revellers eyebrows , as some have accused them of promoting homosexuality behaviours in Uganda .


Now the controversial man of God through his lawyer  filled complaint to the police accusing the two brothers of promoting homosexuality and he  asked the police to stop further Jose Chameleone concerts until he make a public apology.



This was the third time the two brothers have been filmed kissing each other on the lips. One of the other recent incidents occurred in 2022 at a show in Bujumbura, Burundi.


At the time of the incident on Friday, a number of lawmakers and religious leaders were pushing for the tabling of the anti-gay bill on the floor of parliament.
