Deal Gone bad: Ghost Karamoja Goats supplier exposes minister Kitutu - tips State house Anti Corruption unit about the stollen Iron sheets.

Episode 1 

Things look to be getting bitter every day for the minister of Karamoja and woman Member of Parliament Manafwa District, Hon. Mary Goretti Kitutu. 

Kitutu is battling with the Statehouse anti-corruption unit after Government Iron sheets meant for Karamoja were recovered from her mother's house in Namisindwa. 

This forced us to dig deeper and establish who could have tipped the state house on the stolen items.

How it started.

Last year, president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni kick started a project of giving goats in Karamoja to empower the youths and women. 

This was through the ministry of Karamoja affairs. 

Who got the deal of supplying the Goats?

Our inside source told us the deal was given to a one Kefa who works with the state house. 

We are reliably informed that kefa and minister kitutu have been so connected since they hail from one region. 

After scooping a deal, kefa stared procuring goats, most of them were bought from Gomba and by that time there was an outbreak of foot and mouth disease, it is said that keffa used the advantage and bought those goats cheaply.

According to our findings, the veterinary officer of Gomba refused to give movement permit to any goat dealers but kefa would manage to smuggle them to kampala. 

when things got tough, kefa and his team had to move to the next district near by and that was kassanda. 

Kassanda districts officials always got 400k for the permit per track and the trucks used to carry 400 sick goats per route. 

How payments were made.

"we used to receive millions of money at imperial Hotel Kampala after every five days. We normally received 600m to 800m" - Informer.

Our informer/Insider says Kefa was given a contract of supplying 7000 goats but in stead he supplied only 3000 (sick goats ) 

"I don't think that those goats supplied are still alive because all of them were sick" - she noted.
