Musamali Arnold: I am receiving threats ever since I broke the news of Karamoja Swindled relief items (Iron sheets and goats project funds).

Most of these threats are through phone calls reflecting unknown Numbers.

On the 12th of Feb 2023, we published our first story with the headline:- Minister kitutu On the spotlight for swindling Government property - State  House Anti-corruption Unit Storm  Manafwa District.

This story cut across to other media house houses in, less than 2 days, and the story was published in New Vision. 

As a senior investigative journalist, all my foot was on the ground to dig deeper to establish more facts on karamoja relief items. 

I got to understand that it was not only Iron sheets that were mismanaged but also money For the Karamoja goats project was missing. I also wrote about the goats story with a headline :- Minister kitutu in trouble over Ghost Goat suply in Karamoja, Contractor swindles millions of shillings goes into hiding.

I went ahead to follow up on this story and landed on information showing how karamoja Iron sheets were shared to top Government officials, including :- prime minister Robina Nabbaja, Minister of finance, Matia Kasaija, Speaker of parliament of Uganda Rt. Hon. Anita Annet Among, Vice president Jessica Alupo, state minister for karamoja affairs Ageness Nandutu and many others .

After publishing this story, more threats have erupted still from unknown numbers and sms threats.
