Robert Kyagulanyi Election petition against the Electoral commission exposes rot in the judiciary --Judges split for unknown reasons.

 

Chief justice is appearing before the Judicial service commission for a hearing over allegations of stealing a file containing a judgement in the Presidential Election petition of Robert Kyagulanyi Vs the Electoral commission and Yoweri Museveni on 18 march 2021

The Chief justice says he did not steal the file but at the same time the file was found in his possession.

Similarly Justice Easter  Kisakye who read the Judgement to the public is also appearing before the commission over allegations of inserbodination when she went ahead to read the judgement using a copy she had retained.

The commission is secretly conducting the hearing at Lake Victoria Serena .

The closed meeting is under tight security with no media personal allowed inside the meeting room.
