Soroti City East MP Ariko hands over 8 walkable tractors to farmer groups in Soroti.

 

Jubilation in Soroti City East as area Member of participant, Hon. Herbert Edmund Ariko hands over Eight (8) walkable tractors to farmer groups. 

The tractors were handed over to beneficiaries in order to improve on agriculture production and fight poverty eradication in Teso region. 

"I handed over 8 walkable tractors to farmer groups in Soroti City East to boost agriculture & socioeconomic empowerment, I also advocated for the city's beautification, greening, and expansion of its road network"- Ariko tweeted.

Ariko was elected in parliament last year 2022 in a by-election. 

Mr. Attan, who was elected MP for Soroti East Division in 2021, was thrown out of Parliament by the Court of Appeal in May 2022 on grounds that his election was conducted within unspecified boundaries.
