About 1400 journalists from all parts of Uganda media houses under their umbrella body Uganda Journalists Association (UJA) started their symposium taking place at Kyambogo University yesterday, 6th Feb 2023.
The president of uganda, HE Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is expected to meet with these journalist during this five days Symposium.
According to event organizers of this symposium, over three thousand journalists allover the country had submitted in details as required but it was reduced to a manageable number.
The symposium will take place from 6th - 11th feb 2023 with a theme "Social economic transformation for journalists".
UJA secretary general, Mr Emma Kirunda one of the organisers says that the symposium was open to all journalist who who met requirements.
The requirements include :- participant name, media house, phone contact, Email address, UJA or media house ID, and National ID .
