Victoria University to offer free Admission to new entrants / first years as it celebrates charter.

 

Victoria University has moved to offer free admission to all new entrants, this was revealed yesterday 11th Feb 2023 by the University Vice Chancellor, Dr. Lawrence Muganga during the university Charter Celebration.

Victoria University held a Mega University Celebration for having secured a Charter from its main campus hall. 

President KagutaMuseveni signed the charter for Victoria University on on July 31 2022.

Mr. VC also broke the news that the Law Council has approved their law program & implying that the university can teach the course up to the Masters level.

“Actually what is remaining is just the National Council for Higher Education to visit Victoria University and see the facilities we have in order to give us a go ahead.”

He also reminded the public that the university launched students loan scheme under the Higher Education Students Financing Board (HESFB) on the 19th September 2022.

"This implys that as we welcome the new students at Victoria University, they will be in position to apply for and study science courses on loan basis ''- Dr Muganga

One of the  directors of Victoria University, Mr. Rajiv urged the university management never to compromise the school integrity and always uphold the standards and quality as expected.

“So to the quality assurance people, please, we should never at Victoria University compromise our integrity for examinations. We should never compromise our integrity when it comes to how we do our work and the order of the day and most of all, we should hold ourselves to the highest standards, not just a domestic standard, but competing with global institutions around the world.” - Rajiv.
