Ebenezer church pastor arrested for swindling Emyooga cash.

Statehouse Emyooga coordination and monitoring unit has arrested a re-known pastor of Ebenezer Church in kibuku District. 

It is alleged that one Geoffrey, who was not a member of the kibuku women entrepreneur SACCO and kibuku carpenters SACCO managed to get five (5) million shillings from the women entrepreneur Emyooga SACCO and four (4) million shillings from the kibuku carpenter Emyooga SACCO in 2021. 

According to the state house team, he lured one Hindu lady, also a believer in his church, and a business women /entrepreneur in Kibuku, who received money and gave it to him.

The vulnerable Emyooga member failed to utilize the funds well, failing to recover even a single coin.

He is currently being detained at Kibuku police station waiting to appear before court.

The unit is comprised of Miss Namuwenge Ritah the National Coordinator, Mr Humfrey Makumbi the program coordinator, Mr John Turinawe the head of Operation, Madam Bira Jannet the head of legal, Mr Kintu Hakim head of intelligence, Emyooga regional coordinator Bukedi Kwoba Musa among otherwise who are apparently in Bukedi region, implementing the presidential directive of "Emyooga must work".
